Behind every meaningful therapeutic relationship is a practitioner who takes the time to truly understand children, not just their behaviours, but the feelings and experiences beneath them. Fecha brings this depth of understanding into every session, grounded in both extensive training and years of hands-on experience working with children and families across diverse settings.
Her work is guided by a simple but powerful belief: all behaviour is communication, especially for children who do not yet have the words to explain what they are feeling.
A Therapist Shaped by Real-World Experience
Fecha has worked with children and families in a wide range of community and clinical environments, including private practice, private agencies, and not-for-profit organisations. Her experience includes working with children and families supported by organisations such as the Singapore Association for the Deaf, Canossaville Children’s Home, and Club Rainbow, which supports children living with major chronic and life-threatening health conditions.
These settings have given Fecha a deep appreciation for the many ways children experience stress, loss, difference, and transition, and how these experiences can show up in play, relationships, and behaviour.
Fecha’s clinical strengths lie in working with:
Very young children
Children with special educational needs
Young adults
Children and families impacted by trauma
She specialises in play therapy, activity-based therapy, and therapeutic parenting, approaches that recognise that children process their inner worlds differently from adults.
Rather than expecting children to “talk it out,” Fecha meets them where they are developmentally using play, creativity, and relational safety to help them express what words cannot yet hold.
Why Play Therapy Matters So Much
Through her work, Fecha has seen time and again how children struggle to verbalise complex emotions such as fear, grief, anger, or confusion. However, these same emotions often emerge clearly through play.
By learning to “speak” this language, therapists can gain access to a child’s inner world, a world that may otherwise remain silent, misunderstood, or expressed only through challenging behaviours.
Fecha’s Master’s training in Practice-Based Play Therapy deepens her ability to:
Understand the symbolic meaning behind play
Track emotional themes safely and ethically
Support emotional regulation and attachment
Help children process trauma at their own pace
This training allows her to work gently yet effectively, even with children who present with complex needs.
Strong Training, Ongoing Learning
Fecha is a Certified Play Therapist with a Master’s degree in Practice-Based Play Therapy, alongside advanced postgraduate training in the field.
Her qualifications include:
Master’s in Practice-Based Play Therapy (University of Chichester)
Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy (PTUK)

Member of Play Therapy International (PTI)
In addition to her clinical qualifications, Fecha also holds a business degree and began her professional journey working with children as a music educator specialising in piano, a background that continues to influence her sensitivity to rhythm, attunement, and creative expression in therapy.
As a true lifelong learner, Fecha remains committed to continually refining her skills to better support the children and families she works with.
What families often appreciate most about Fecha is her calm, grounded presence and her ability to see beyond surface behaviours. She works collaboratively with parents and caregivers, recognising that healing happens not only in the therapy room, but also through relationships at home.
Her approach is:
Developmentally informed
Trauma-aware
Gentle yet structured
Respectful of each child’s unique pace
Whether supporting a very young child, a child with additional needs, or a family navigating complex emotional challenges, Fecha brings patience, curiosity, and deep respect for each child’s story.
Supporting Children by Understanding Their World
Children do not need to be “fixed.” They need to be understood.
Through her training, experience, and dedication, Fecha helps children feel seen, safe, and supported, giving them the space to process their experiences and grow with confidence.
If you are looking for a therapist who values connection, understands play as communication, and brings both heart and expertise into her work, Fecha offers a deeply thoughtful and compassionate presence for children and families alike.
